Nicole and Kam’s Santa Ynez Wedding

 Roblar Winery - 9/4/2021

Nicole and Kam had the most beautiful, intimate, personal wedding I’ve ever attended. It was a weekend filled with events including wine tastings with unbelievably gorgeous backdrops, perfect weather, personal touches, and memories to last a lifetime.

We arrived at LAX Friday morning and spent Friday afternoon at Sunstone Winery (not pictured) where Nicole and Kam got engaged a few years ago. They had a lovely set up in this cave-like venue with different wine options which was beautiful. It allowed the guests to mingle and chat while we geared up for the wedding ahead. Later that evening, we relocated to Roblar Farm, pictured below, for the rehearsal/welcome dinner. The bride and groom stayed on site at a Roblar Farm at a gorgeous mansion where they each were able to get ready for the wedding.

The dinner ambiance and setting at Roblar Farm was literally pulled out of a magazine. Picture it: grapes dangling down above our heads while we had a Mediterranean spread that was outstanding, while bottles of red and white (made on site) we were poured continuously throughout the evening.

They had red wine, white wine, sparkling rose and even his/her signature cocktails. Honestly, they didn’t miss a beat.

Once Saturday arrived, some of the ladies relaxed together during the morning of Nicole’s wedding. What a crew. We had some girl chat, painted our nails, enjoyed a few mimosas and one another’s company. This mansion was out of this world. Honestly - pictures don’t do it justice and unfortunately I didn’t take that many photos of the place.

After a relaxing and fun morning, we were en route to Roblar Winery (around the corner from the farm where the rehearsal dinner was then night before).  The details were so well thought-out. Nicole and Kam planned a bus for every single guest to have a planned ride to and from the wedding.  Here’s Jimbo and I on the bus to the ceremony.

And here are a few scattered wedding ceremony photos - they are a bit out of order, but you get the idea  :)

The wonderful bride and groom - they wrote their own vows and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Nicole even wrote vows to Kam’s daughter Campbell, and gifted her the sweetest necklace with all of their names engraved. Campbell was Nicole’s shadow the entire evening. You can tell she absolutely idolizes and cherishes her. It’s so sweet.

Nicole’s brother Michael walking her down the aisle.

Nicole’s Mom Sue took care of her throughout the day - and even made her veil (and probably 900 other things). Her talents are unreal!

Here is Campbell - the most adorable flower girl, ever.

The details of Nicole’s dress were stunning. She looked absolutely incredible.

First dance :)

Wedding Dinner table decor - again, stunning. I’m like a broken record haha.

The food was DELICIOUS. Everything was so fresh. The braised short rib was to die for - truly.

Reception Entrance - here is the first time Nicole and Kam were announced as Mr. and Mrs. :)

Cake Cutting - this cake was delicious. And the cake cutting itself was adorable. Loved the song choice! (“Cake” by Flo Rida)

Thank you for an insane weekend - what a memorable time. I absolutely loved every second. Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs!!!

xo,
Shaz
