Shaz by the Sea

When I first started blogging, my goal was to memorialize every single day - especially when it came to my pregnancies and my babies. I wanted to remember everything . The days are often a complete blur, and I wanted to find a way to document all our family memories. For example, over the weekend, Conor and Caden grabbed each other's hands in the ocean and started singing ring around the rosie. It was so cute. Well fast forward almost four years and I am still blogging. Often, I am sure the photos look great and life is an absolute blast. However, there are many many tantrums, blow outs, spills, sicknesses, and breakdowns (from mommy too!) that I don't portray in photos and on my blog, of course. This weekend was actually a great example of that. We made it to the Cape on Friday after work - it took us over four hours with stops, traffic, etc. It was a borderline nightmare. The reason I say borderline is that thankfully when we arrived at almost 9PM, all three kids went...

What a weekend!! We are TIRED . We were originally planning on sticking around Woburn this weekend, but I realized I left my purse down the Cape last weekend....sooo Saturday morning we packed up the essentials and took off to Cape Cod for the night. The weather was supposed to be wonderful this weekend, so we figured why not? Trying to live in the moment a bit more these days (which is tough to do with three littles). Marylous: Matching Shirts: And Mini Eggs: We took the boys to the beach when we arrived on Saturday. It was such a nice day. We brought them in the wagon and they walked off and on. When we arrived at the beach, Conor and Caden got out and ran around. Cal fell asleep in the baby bjorn, so I put him down in the wagon on top of the boys blankets since it was empty. Life's a beach.........   My cousin, Jodie and her four kids, Jason, Kelsie, Kayla, and Jared came down to the Cape house this weekend. While it was unreal with all 6 kids together - it was SO much fun. They all loved playing together and making fun memories on the Cape! Jodie, Chrissy, and I spent so many summers playing together in Cape Cod. It was nice for children to do the same...even for a quick weekend.   Quick Phelan family photos in the ocean. And Keyes Beach is nice and shallow with a fun little sandbar - so it's perfect for children. It's open to the public, but we love how small it is...like a hidden gem.   Me and my Godson, Jared!
