2021 Beach Days & NYE

Image
First beach days of 2021! We went to Covell Beach in the Cape today and the boys got soaked. They had so much fun.   What our NYE looked like - I got ready, did my makeup and put on a dress.  It lasted for about an hour then immediately put on my leggings and glasses lol.  We enjoyed some Veuve at midnight and a nice cab during dinner. I made some top sirloins, sautéed onions and spinach to go with the red wine.  The boys enjoyed some OJ courtesy of Gramps on New Years Day! We then made a firepit and Jims been clearing more of our yard here in the Cape. Tomorrow we are off to grab some more oysters and hang for Uncle Joes birthday! Cal and Dad had a cheers to the new year, too! I hope everyone had a great and safe NYE - here’s to a better 2021!! All for now.  xo, Shaz

One Last Beach Day

Wingaersheek Beach - haven’t been here in ages and I have no idea why. It was absolutely beautiful - even when it was overcast and a bit chilly.  The boys LOVED the soft sand, clean/calm ocean and tons of space to play “boomerang”. We had an amazing day, and after last week let me tell you - it was INCREDIBLE and much needed. The boys were so fun.  Phelan boyz

Julie has two little boys the same ages as my guys - so we thought it would be super fun to get the 5 boys under the age of 5 together under the same roof! Haha. It honestly was awesome. All the kids did great. The house was on Ocean Street in Hyannis, so it was near the boats, some restaurants, and a few beaches. It was nice being in a rental and not our own house - so we didn't have to worry about lawn maintenance, and other things around our house. It definitely felt more like a vacation. Here are a few favs from the week! Our backyard had this cool bar. It had chairs to sit at the bar, a TV with ...
